Biography

Glenn Kitson is a Bolton born director and original founder of the celebrated menswear magazine & creative agency The Rig Out.

Recognised as a London based tastemaker working with and directing for some of the biggest and best names in music, lifestyle, fashion and performance sports, The Rig Out was originally born from an interest in connecting good people with great brands.

After working with an extensive list of collaborators and partners in crime including industry heavy weights Andy Bird, Anthony Crook, Margot Bowman & Ewen Spencer, Kitson broke out on his own focusing full time on directing

Today he is hailed for his honest voice and innovative thinking, working with established artists, subcultures and influencers to create films that capture the minds of youth and generates an audience on a global scale.

Renowned for his witty observations and social commentary on his ever popular twitter account @Glenn_Kitson he further establishes his ability to inject cheeky humour into the everyday and connect with a wide audience.

Kitson’s client list spans Nike, Levi’s, Reebok, Size?, Rapha, Tate Modern, Converse and more. Recent work includes the London takeover film of ultra cool Atlanta Trap label Awful Records and an online film for sport brand Hummel made to view directly on Soccerbible’s 5 millions Instagram followers.

Kitson is a D&AD New Blood ambassador and writes for the Guardian.

June 2017 will see the premiere of ‘The Long Grass’, a short film written in collaboration with legendary Wavey Garms.

Streetstyle experts Wavey Garms collaborated with Glenn Kitson on a trippy London gangster short which premiered exclusively across Vice. The film is a masterpiece supermix of tension, psychedelic visuals and a killer dub soundtrack.

The Rig Out teamed up with North Dublin’s greatest rapper, Rejjie Snow and photographer Will Robson-Scott for a new campaign for Brandblack.

Kiosk Magazine featuring Phoebe Collings-James as the cover story is out now. The first issue of the publication created by The Rig Out focuses on subjects pertaining to creatives surrounding London’s King’s Cross neighborhood.
