Biography & News


Director, writer Danny Sangra is a graduate of Central Saint Martins and an established artist, illustrator & photographer. Danny has collaborated with clients such as Sony BMG, Atlantic NY, Samsung, BBC, Metallica, Carolina Herrera, Showstudio, Elle and Vogue. 

Danny has recently created films for Mercedes-Benz, Miu Miu & Balenciaga, the latter taking second position in the top 10 Fashion Films by Business of Fashion. His immensely personal work has been part of the New York Fashion Film Festival hosted in February 2012 and again in 2013, which included screenings of films by Steven Meisel, Tim Walker, Nick Knight.

His debut feature film ‘Goldbricks in Bloom’ starring Zosia Mamet (Girls), Jake Hoffman and Leo Fitzpatrick released in 2016 to rave reviews amongst audiences & the LA Times. With Indiewire quoting the film “”Goldbricks In Bloom” shares the irreverent wit, heightened reality, and unexpected dark twists of Sangra’s shorts”. Written and directed by Danny, you can stream the film in full exclusively through Vimeo.“
