Joel grew up in the far north of Sweden, spending most of his time in the mountains, either with a pair of skiis, or just his feet, hiking. This soon lead to a passion for photography and film making, capturing its beauty and joy. Eventually, the passion for the craft grew even stronger than the sports, leading him to pursue photography and film making as a career. His work range from heartfelt and tender to gritty and exposed, always with impeccable attention to camera work and storytelling.
